New Year’s Eve at Marina Walensee: 2 options

This year, on Thursday, 31 December 2026, you can choose between two special New Year’s Eve experiences:

Option 1 – Festive New Year’s Eve Menu
See out the year in style with a refined 6-course New Year’s Eve menu at the Marina Restaurant. Look forward to culinary highlights and an indulgent evening to remember.

Option 2 – New Year’s Eve Party with DJ
Together with Tanzen am Walensee, we invite you to celebrate in the Marina Hall. Enjoy a varied buffet with a selection of salads, Fondue Chinoise and delicious desserts, before DJ Many gets the party started from 9.30 pm.

Dancing at Lake Walen

On the Thursdays listed below, a couples’ dance evening takes place at 8.00 pm in the Marina Hall (parquet flooring). The evening is accompanied by a DJ, and admission costs CHF 13.00.

Luca & Friends: Gourmet Evenings

Every evening is unique – created with passion, creativity and meticulous attention to detail.

• 4 times a year: Four special gourmet evenings throughout the year – each centred around a new culinary theme.
• Multi-course surprise menu: Let Chef Luca Uehli surprise you, course by course.
• Drinks pairing included: Carefully selected drinks to complement the menu, with or without alcohol.
• 25 guests: Small, personal and exclusive – just 25 places are available per evening.
• CHF 200 per person: The complete gourmet experience, including the menu and drinks pairing.

15 October 2026: Game Evening

Regional, wild and full of flavour: this evening celebrates game from the surrounding region. Chef Luca Uehli presents local game in a unique multi-course menu. A vegetarian menu is available on request.

Joining us as our «Friend» for the evening is local hunter Manfred Gubser, who will share fascinating insights into hunting and the origins of the game served.

Gilde Charity Week

From 2 to 6 September 2026, this year’s Gilde Charity Week will take place. The week is dedicated to showing solidarity with and supporting people living with multiple sclerosis.

During the week, we will be serving a delicious white wine risotto with sautéed chanterelle mushrooms and chive oil for CHF 28.00.

CHF 5.00 from each portion will be donated to the Swiss Multiple Sclerosis Society, helping to support people affected by multiple sclerosis.

Alpine Hut of Madness – As Sick as Your Secrets

Deep in a snow-covered alpine hut, the self-proclaimed Doctor Albin runs an illegal sanatorium for psychologically unstable patients. Patients Bella and Leo/Leane struggle with delusions and voices, while Nurse Anna is tormented by guilt and inner turmoil of her own.

As isolation, mistrust and Albin’s unhealthy obsession with Anna intensify, the situation spirals out of control. When Anna is found dead in the barn, everyone present becomes a suspect.

Then a hiker named Eva arrives – Anna’s double – adding yet another layer of confusion. During interrogations, mutual accusations and delusional fantasies, the lines between truth, guilt and responsibility begin to blur. And until the very end, one question remains: what really happened?
