General Terms and Conditions

Scope

These GTC apply to online and telephone reservations between the customer and Marina Walensee AG.

Establishment of the contractual relationship

The booking of a hotel or seminar room or a table reservation, as well as the purchase of vouchers is carried out exclusively by the customer. Marina Walensee AG sends an electronic confirmation of the booking to the customer.
The contractual relationship comes about with the dispatch of the electronic confirmation to the customer.

Online booking of a hotel room or suite

Prices
The prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF) including statutory VAT.
Room prices include breakfast from the buffet, hotel service and statutory VAT. Wi-Fi is also included.

Final invoice
The final invoice is payable at the latest on departure.

Means of payment
Cash payment, Amex, Boncard, Diners Club, Maestro, Mastercard, Postfinance, Troy, V pay, Visa

Currency
Payments can be made in CHF or EUR.

Checking in and out of hotel rooms and suites
Check-in from 15:00 – 18:00 on the day of arrival
Check-out from 08:00 – 10:00 on the day of departure
If you arrive later, you must inform the reception so that the room card can be deposited.

Late check-out / Early check-in
Must always be clarified in advance. If the offer is possible, the following price applies:
Late departure by 16:00 CHF 60.00
Early arrival from 11:00 CHF 60.00

Credit card guarantees and prepayments
Upon disclosure of the credit card number including validity date the customer guarantees his confirmed reservation. Guarantees by credit card are processed electronically by Marina Walensee AG and do not require written confirmation from the customer. On the day of arrival, all costs (accommodation, breakfast, VAT, service and city tax) will be charged to the credit card.

Booking cancellation policy
Cancellation up to 14 days before arrival free of charge, thereafter 100% of the overnight price.

Early departure
If the guest leaves early, the hotel is entitled to charge 100% of the costs of all the services booked.

Keeping of animals
Pets may only be brought into the hotel with the prior consent of the hotel and for a special fee. Guests who bring pets into the hotel are obliged to keep or supervise them properly during their stay or to have them kept or supervised at their expense by suitable third parties.

Lost property
Lost property will be forwarded if ownership is clear and the residential/business address is known. The costs and the risk for the subsequent shipping shall be borne by the guest.
If it is not clear who the owner is, all lost property will be stored for a further three months.

Ordering vouchers

Handover of the voucher
The voucher will only be issued after payment has been made. It can either be collected in person or will be sent to the delivery address indicated by the customer after the transfer has been made. The shipping costs will be charged to the customer. Vouchers are not delivered abroad.
Marina Walensee AG accepts no liability whatsoever for damage incurred by the customer as a result of use or misuse by unauthorised persons or due to illegible vouchers.

Prices
The prices are in Swiss francs (CHF). If payment is made in euros, the daily rate applicable on the day of payment shall apply. Payment on account is only possible in CHF.
The prices are inclusive of statutory value added tax.

Means of payment
Cash, bank transfer or credit card.

Period of validity of the vouchers
Vouchers are valid for 3 years after full payment and can be redeemed in the Marina Walensee.

Returns / Refunds
Vouchers are not taken back by Marina Walensee AG.

Purchase of discounted ski day tickets

Prices
15% discount on ski tickets from Bergbahnen Flumserberg AG.

Obtaining the ski day ticket
Each guest may purchase the day tickets amounting to the “number of overnight stays plus one”.

Minimum stay
Guests must spend at least 2 days at the Hotel Marina in order to benefit from the offer. One-time purchase for the entire stay (no denomination).

Point of sale
The sale takes place exclusively in the INTERSPORT Network at Unterterzen.

Verification
Guests must prove their entitlement to discounted day tickets, e.g. by means of a voucher, which is handed to them at check-in with the number of overnight stays and collected by INTERSPORT Network at Unterterzen.

Amendments / Supplements

Amendments and supplements to these GTC by Marina Walensee AG are permissible at any time.

Applicable law / Place of jurisdiction

In the event of disputes, Swiss law shall apply exclusively. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this agreement is the municipality of Unterterzen, Quarten SG.
